What better than a guided tour of San Fermín to get to know all the details of the fiesta? Our local guides in Pamplona will tell you all about its history and traditions.

We will start the visit in the Church of San Lorenzo, where the image of San Fermín is carried in a procession every 7th of July.
From the walls we will see the Corralillos del Gas where all the bulls that will be fought during the fiesta meet. From there we will approach the Corralillos de Santo Domingo, where the bulls come out for the Encierro. We will walk the 850 m. to the Bullring. On the way we will stop at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, from where the Chupinazo is thrown and the Pobre de Mi is celebrated. Very close by is the Cathedral of Santa María La Real in Pamplona, where we will see its magnificent Gothic interior (only open in the morning).

In front of the Bullring, we will see the monument to Hemingway and very close by the great monument to the Encierro.

We will end up in the Plaza del Castillo, the main centre of the city, where the famous Café Iruña is located, several times named by the American writer in his novel “Fiesta”.
